Biographical and professional notes

Father Raffaele Talmelli was born in Ferrara in 1959.

A Religious in the Diocese of Siena since 1987, he practices professionally as a Psychiatrist.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery, he specialized in Psychiatry; he earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and graduated in Science and Techniques of Communication Psychology and in Music Disciplines.

He is an ordained priest and former professor of Pastoral Psychiatry at the Theological and Philosophical Study of the Pontifical Seminary of Siena and of Psychopathology at the Edith Stein Institute in Genoa. He currently teaches classes in Neurophysiology and Psychopathology at the Pastoral Counseling Study and Research Institute in Camaiore (Lucca) and Psychopharmacology at the Strategic Therapy Center (Arezzo).
