From May 6-12, 2024, the 14th edition of the Masterclass in Pain Medicine was held in Forlì (Italy), organized by Advanced Algology Research in collaboration with the Quality of Life Foundation.

This education project in pain medicine and therapy offered an immersive week-long experience dedicated to theoretical lessons and hands-on exercises with simulations of clinical cases held by numerous major experts in the field.

The masterclass program covered a wide range of topics in the following areas:

  • Introduction to pain medicine

  • Spine pain

  • Neuropathic and nociceptive pain

  • Outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic techniques

The main goal of the Masterclass was to train professionals to be able to make correct diagnoses, select the most effective evidence-based treatment paths, and take care of patients with pain symptoms from an interdisciplinary perspective based on a biopsychosocial model.
