Dr. Stefano Pallanti ― Founder and Director of the Istituto di Neuroscienze ― joined the seminar series entitled "European Frontiers in Neuroscience" coordinated by Dr. Filippo Drago — Professor of Pharmacology and Director of the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences at the University of Catania. Dr. Pallanti's Grand Round focused on the theme "Behavioral Addictions: Prevention and Treatment."

The talk given by Dr. Pallanti was a major contribution to the dissemination of the most up-to-date knowledge on Behavioral Addictions and on the most effective and advanced methods of prevention and treatment of these disorders. During his presentation, Dr. Pallanti stressed the importance of a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to addressing these complex conditions, taking into account biological, psychological, and social factors.

Dr. Stefano Pallanti is a leading expert and researcher on behavioral addiction disorders.

He is the author of the PG-YBOCS rating scale: Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale adapted to Behavioral Addiction and Gambling Disorder.

Furthermore, Dr. Pallanti is a faculty member at the International Training School and Conference on Problematic Usage of the Internet at Clare College of Cambridge University, consisting of a group of experienced researchers on new addictions.

In addition, Dr. Pallanti is Editor in Chief of Archives of Behavioral Addictions.

He will deliver a presentation titled "Precision Psychiatry CINP GNC Symposium: From Biomarker Discovery to Therapeutic Innovation Toward Personalized Mental Health Care."  The congress will take place in Melbourne, Australia, from June 15th to 18th, 2025.

International Conference on Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome: from neuroinflammation to clinical practice.

Dr. Stefano Pallanti will participate in the conference as one of the leading experts on PANS/PANDAS and neuroinflammation and will give a presentation entitled "The Neuroinflammation Hypothesis in Psychiatry".  It will take place at the Palacongressi of the G. Martino University Hospital in Messina on 13 and 14 June 2025.
